Intuitive, insightful and knowledgeable, Roy has coached countless CEOs and senior executives on how to improve their impact, charisma and presentation skills.
It can be very lonely at the top. Roy has been a trusted advisor to countless CEOs and board directors.
For example, he asked one senior executive to make his ‘pitch’ ahead of a job interview as MD for a division of a global bank. When he finished, Roy politely told him he wouldn’t give him the job if he was on the selection panel.
Crestfallen, the executive asked ‘why’? Roy told him. They set to work. Two weeks after the interview, his client called to say he was now the MD!
For younger, ambitious workers Roy’s career advice is often sought. For example, at a past conference he gave the following advice to an audience of predominantly female medics:

Executives do not always present well. Roy often gets asked to coach presenters – either on-site or in the weeks leading up to your conference.
Roy offers a ‘package’ in which all presentation skills participants enrol on his online presentation course. Once everyone has completed this, he then chairs an online workshop in which selected participants deliver short presentations followed by peer-to-peer feedback and then Roy’s personal feedback. These virtual sessions are always hugely appreciated. In part, because they also provide everyone with ‘real-world’ detailed coaching on how to facilitate interactive online sessions.
